Anniston, AL – A new Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post is forming in Anniston, and organizers are inviting eligible veterans to join during a membership drive on Saturday, March 29, at 12 p.m. at the Anniston City Meeting Center.
The event, hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Alabama, aims to bring together qualified veterans who are interested in becoming charter members of the new post. Those attending are encouraged to bring their DD-214or an existing VFW membership card for verification.
The VFW, a national organization dedicated to supporting veterans, offers advocacy, community service, and camaraderie for those who have served in overseas conflicts. By establishing a new post in Anniston, organizers hope to provide local veterans with access to resources, events, and a strong support network.
