FRANKLIN, Tenn — In a dynamic new partnership with Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™), TruGreen®, the nation’s leading lawn care treatment provider, is rolling out a multi-year collaboration designed to transform baseball experiences at all levels — from the professional minor league diamonds to the heart of local communities.

As part of the wide-reaching initiative, TruGreen is launching “TruGreen Spaces”, a program dedicated to revitalizing community ballfields and public spaces across the country. This campaign invites fans to nominate a local field or parkin need of a makeover by visiting MiLB.com/TruGreenSpaces through June 30, 2025. One winning location will be selected from the 120 MiLB markets for a full revitalization, making it a true community centerpiece.

“At TruGreen, we take great pride in understanding what’s happening in the hometown communities we serve,” said Kurt Kane, President and CEO of TruGreen. “From the ball field to the backyard, we’re the pros trusted by pros, and our exciting partnership with Minor League Baseball is the perfect way to showcase that.”

The collaboration also designates TruGreen as the Official Lawn Care Treatment Provider of MiLB, with key activations including:

  • In-game promotions offering discounts on lawn services,

  • Season-long dugout wraps that rebrand home dugouts in all 120 MiLB parks,

  • And sponsorship of select grounds crews at top-tier clubs like the Memphis Redbirds, Iowa Cubs, Worcester Red Sox, and more.

“This partnership allows us to celebrate the spirit of hometown baseball while giving back to the communities that support it,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Global Corporate Partnerships at MLB. “The TruGreen Spaces initiative empowers fans to improve their neighborhoods in a tangible and lasting way.”

Minor League Baseball, which draws millions of fans annually, serves as an ideal partner for TruGreen, a company with over 290 locations and more than 14,000 associates caring for approximately four million acres of turf each year. The alliance reinforces both organizations’ commitments to community engagement and excellence in outdoor spaces.

To nominate your local ballfield or public park, visit MiLB.com/TruGreenSpaces before the June 30 deadline. The winning project will receive a complete renovation, bringing new life to a beloved local landmark.
