2022 Veterans Day Parade in Anniston set

Anniston, AL – The 2022 Veterans Day Parade in Anniston set for Friday, November 11, at 2:00 pm. Following a covid-related pause, officials report the annual Veterans Day Parade in Anniston is returning to Noble Street this year. Like in the past, the parade is scheduled for Veterans Day, Friday, November 11. The Veterans Day Parade, organized by Calhoun County area veterans, will be held in downtown Anniston on Noble Street. It will start at 2:00 pm.

Parade officials invite military units, area organizations and clubs, schools, businesses, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and individuals to participate in the parade. The 2022 Veterans Day Parade application form is available via the City of Anniston website:  https://www.annistonal.gov/events/2022-veterans-day-parade/

The Veterans Day Parade application forms should be turned in no later than Friday October 28. The postal address and the email address are both listed on the application form.

The Veterans Day Parade in Anniston always starts at Noble Street and 15th Street. The reviewing stand will be at 11th Street. The parade ends at 9th Street. Limited seating will be set aside in the form of portable bleachers at 11th Street for Gold Star Family members and for veterans.

“Once again, our committee is working hard to organize another great Veterans Day Parade the entire community can be proud of. Our love and respect for the men and women who have served our nation as members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America will be on display for all to see and appreciate,” said Linda Peters, parade coordinating committee chairperson.

“The public is invited and encouraged to line Noble Street Veterans Day November 11 for the 2022 Veterans Day Parade in Anniston,” she said.
