Oxford, AL – Per Oxford Chief Bill Partridge Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to an active shooter at 21 and I-20. Upon arrival suspect was taken down and in custody at the Race Trac on AL 21 and Grace St. Multiple shots were fired on 21 and at Race Trac. Officers have the suspect in custody. OPD has asked that everyone please avoid the area while officers work multiple crime scenes. This is an ongoing investigation. OPD will release more information as it comes available.
