Trick or Treat on Main
Trick or Treat on Main is an annual Halloween extravaganza for families to enjoy. Sponsored by Historic Main Street Oxford, the City of Oxford, and downtown merchants, this event packs a punch. Taking place on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM, it’s a one-stop destination for Halloween fun.
The event boasts bounce houses, slides, carnival games, food trucks, live entertainment, costume contests, and, most importantly, FREE candy! In previous years, Trick or Treat on Main has welcomed between 20,000 and 25,000 attendees, underlining its popularity and community spirit.
Vendors are encouraged to participate and distribute candy. It’s essential to note that this event is not a vendor market, so sales are not permitted unless you’re a food vendor. However, businesses and organizations can provide promotional and informational items and materials to the attendees.
Oxford PARD Halloween Carnival
Join the Halloween fun at the Oxford Civic Center on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 4:30 PM to 7 PM. This carnival is open to all children ages 0-12 and offers free admission. Tickets for games can be purchased at 4 for $1.00. The highlight of the evening is the Costume Contest at 5:30 PM, where imaginative and creative costumes will take center stage.
