Oxford, AL – The city of Oxford is set to ring in the holiday season with its annual “Christmas on Main” celebration, hosted by Historic Main Street Oxford, on Saturday, November 16, from noon until 6 p.m. The festive event promises a day full of holiday cheer, family-friendly activities, and local shopping opportunities that are sure to get everyone in the spirit.
“Christmas on Main” will feature a diverse array of artisan vendors, food trucks offering seasonal treats, free train rides, cotton candy, and even a snow machine to bring a wintery feel to downtown Oxford. Kids and families can look forward to photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy live performances by the Oxford High School Band and Choir, filling the streets with classic holiday tunes.
The event is also an opportunity to support local businesses. Oxford’s downtown shops — including Cotton Antiques and Collectibles, English Cottage, Epiphany’s, Fresh Value, Hubbard’s Off Main, Le Coin des Artistes, Madi Lou’s Boutique, Oxford Lumber, Sarah Cavender Metalworks, The Bank Oxford, The Main Olive, The Tackle Box, and Ulti Mutt Bakery — will be open for early holiday shoppers looking for unique gifts and seasonal specials.
