The Oxford City Council met Tuesday evening to address a range of zoning, annexation, and municipal matters. All items on the agenda were approved unanimously (5-0).
Zoning and Annexation Ordinances
Council members approved three ordinances concerning zoning and property updates:

Ordinance No. 2025-46: Rezoned property at 120 Annie Drive from Residential 1 District (R-1) to Mobile Home District (MH).

Ordinance No. 2025-47: Rezoned property at 202 Digby Road from General Business District (GB) to Residential 1 District (R-1).

Ordinance No. 2025-48: Annexed property owned by Williams Legacy Holdings Inc. on Alabama Highway 21 S. into the city limits.

Resolution No. 2025-89: Ratified a Major League Fishing Host Agreement with Major League Fishing, LLC.

Resolutions No. 2025-90 through 2025-95: Authorized municipal liens ranging from $184 to $8,382.34 on various properties for city-related costs.

Resolution No. 2025-96: Rejected a previous bid and approved a new contract with The ESB Group, Inc. for Audio and Video Equipment Improvements at the Oxford Civic Center totaling $499,997.48.
