Work Session
During the Oxford City Council Work Session on September 24, 2024, the following detailed points were discussed:
- Budget: The council reviewed the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 budget and were informed it is balanced and highlighted that employees will not see an increase in their insurance payments.
- Bond Issue Details: Mayor Alton Craft reviewed some of the planned capital projects that will be covered by the next bond issue. Those include new buildings for the EMS and animal control, and new HVAC systems for the Oxford Public Library and the Oxford Performing Arts Center.
