OXFORD, AL — Car enthusiasts and racing fans will have the opportunity to experience a unique automotive event later this month as the Oxford Exchange Shopping Center hosts a community car show featuring one of NASCAR’s most recognized figures.
The event, organized by Shoppes at EastChase, is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oxford Exchange, located at 1150 Oxford Exchange Blvd. The event is free and open to the public.
A highlight of the event will be an appearance by Donnie Allison, a member of the famed “Alabama Gang” and a 2024 inductee into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. Allison is expected to sign autographs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., offering fans a chance to meet the racing icon.
Event organizers have also announced that a real NASCAR vehicle will be on display, courtesy of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
Participants are invited to bring their own show cars, with no registration required and all vehicles welcome. In addition to the car showcase, attendees can expect a variety of activities, including giveaways, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, live music, and Talladega race ticket giveaways.
Trophies will be awarded during the event, and food will be provided at no cost to participants and attendees.
The event aims to bring together members of the community for a day centered around classic cars, motorsports, and family-friendly entertainment.
