Oxford, AL – The Oxford Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the community to an evening of games, trivia and patriotic fun during its monthly Game Night on Tuesday, July 7.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at two locations: the Bynum Community Center and the Oxford Civic Center. Organizers said the July edition, themed “Red, White and Game Night,” is being held in collaboration with the America 250 Alabama initiative.
The free community event is designed for participants of all ages and skill levels. A variety of board games and card games will be available, along with historical trivia and special giveaways throughout the evening.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue or other patriotic attire for a chance to win a special prize. Refreshments will also be available.
No registration is required. Community members may simply arrive at either location and join a game.
Organizers say the event is intended to bring people together through unplugged entertainment, conversation and community connection while celebrating the spirit of the season.
