OXFORD, AL — Oxford Parks & Recreation will host a free Fidget & Trinket Trade Night on Friday, June 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Oxford Civic Center, located at 401 McCullars Lane.
The event is open to all ages and is designed to give community members an opportunity to trade, collect, and share a variety of small items in a family-friendly environment.
According to event organizers, participants are encouraged to bring items such as NeeDohs, fidgets, trinkets, slime, stickers, Squishmallows, sensory toys, collectibles, mystery items, and other small treasures to trade with fellow attendees.
Trading tables and community swap areas will be available throughout the venue. Oxford Parks & Recreation will also provide a beginner-friendly community table for those new to trading events.
Organizers have established several guidelines for participants, including treating others respectfully, asking permission before handling another person’s items, and ensuring all trades are mutually agreed upon. The event is designated as trade-only, meaning buying and selling will not be permitted.
Parents are asked to supervise younger children during the event. Organizers also noted that all trades are made at participants’ own discretion, and Oxford Parks & Recreation is not responsible for lost, damaged, or unfairly traded items.
No registration is required. Community members can simply attend the event with items they wish to trade.
