Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center is thrilled to present an evening of storytelling and music with the renowned Sean Dietrich, better known as Sean of the South. This highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, July 12th at 7:30 pm and promises to deliver belly laughs and good ole’ Southern hospitality.

Sean Dietrich, a beloved storyteller, columnist, and novelist, will captivate the audience with his unique blend of humor and heartwarming tales. Known for making audiences laugh, cry, and relive cherished memories, Sean’s performances are a delightful experience filled with wit and wisdom. His work has been featured in prominent publications such as Newsweek, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Good Grit, The Tallahassee Democrat, South Magazine, The Bitter Southerner, The Birmingham News, and The Mobile Press Register. Additionally, he has authored eleven books, further showcasing his storytelling prowess.

Adding to his impressive resume, Sean recently performed live shows at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, earning accolades for his engaging and entertaining presentations. When he’s not writing, Sean enjoys spending time with his dog, Thelma Lou, and his wife, Jamie.
