UPDATE 9/24/21: The Oxford Police Department has identified the person involved in the robbery. Warrants have been secured.
The Oxford Police Department is currently investigating an early morning armed robbery that occurred at the Samco in Eastaboga. At approximately 4:15 am, Officers were dispatched to the 9000 block of U.S. 78 regarding an armed robbery. Although no one was injured the unidentified suspect did fire a shot during the incident.
The Oxford Police Department is requesting help from anyone in the community that may be able to identify the suspect.
