Oxford flag football gets several big contributions while downing visiting Clay-Chalkville in a Region 7 game.
OXFORD — Gabrielle Lindsey passed for three touchdowns and a two-point conversion, and Oxford downed visiting Clay-Chalkville 40-6 in Wednesday’s Class 6A/7A, Region 7 flag-football action on Lamar Field.
Oxford improved to 2-1, 2-0 region.
Lindsey hit on seven of 10 passes for 125 yards, and Oxford quarterbacks completed nine of 14 passes for 157 yards and four touchdowns overall. Charlie Trotter threw for 32 yards, including a touchdown on a double pass.
