Oxford Public Library Hosts Book Discussion Event

Oxford book Club

Oxford AL – The Oxford Public Library is set to host a special book discussion event on May 20th, featuring Lucy Foley’s popular thriller, “The Guest List.” This engaging event will be held at three different times throughout the day to accommodate various schedules: 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. The library is located at 110 E 6th Street, Oxford, AL.

“The Guest List” has captivated readers with its gripping narrative and intricate plot, making it an excellent choice for a lively and insightful discussion. The novel, set on a remote island off the coast of Ireland, unfolds during a high-profile wedding where secrets and tensions build, ultimately leading to murder. Its rich character development and suspenseful twists provide ample material for discussion.

Library staff encourage both longtime fans of Foley and new readers to attend. Each session aims to foster a thoughtful and engaging conversation about the book’s themes, characters, and the author’s storytelling techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives, ask questions, and delve deeper into the novel’s intricacies.

Attendees do not need to register in advance, and all sessions are free and open to the public. The library encourages participants to read the book beforehand to fully engage in the discussion, though all are welcome to join regardless of how much they have read.

For more information about the event, please contact the Oxford Public Library at (256) 831-1750 or visit their website.
