Oxford Public Library Invites Families to Halloweek Festival for a Morning of Halloween Fun

Tick or Treat at the Oxford Public Library

Oxford, AL — The City of Oxford, Alabama, is bringing Halloween cheer to the community with a festive event at the Oxford Public Library. On Thursday, October 31, families are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and participate in a morning of trick-or-treating, games, and fun activities.

The Halloweek Festival promises a range of activities for kids, including a candy-filled trick-or-treating trail through the library. Alongside the treats, there will be special guest appearances, a photo booth for memorable family snapshots, and engaging Halloween-themed activities tailored for young attendees. Parents are reminded to bring their own candy buckets to ensure little ones can collect plenty of sweets.

The event will start at 10:15 a.m. at the Oxford Public Library, located at 110 E. 6th St. This seasonal celebration is an opportunity for the community to enjoy a safe, family-friendly Halloween experience and for children to revel in their costumes alongside friends and family.

This Halloweek Festival is part of the City of Oxford’s commitment to providing engaging and accessible events that celebrate local traditions and foster a sense of community.
