Oxford, AL – On August 31st at 4 p.m., the community is invited to gather at Oxford Lake, pavilion #8, for the 3rd annual Overdose Awareness Outreach event. Organized by Bre’s Ministry, this event is held in observation of International Overdose Awareness Day, a day dedicated to remembering those affected by drug overdoses and raising awareness about addiction.
This family-friendly event will feature resource tables, speakers, live music, and free food. Kids will also have activities to enjoy while adults can connect with others in fellowship. Importantly, resources will be available for those currently struggling with addiction and seeking a path to recovery.
The event carries a message of hope and restoration, encapsulated in the words of Bre’s Ministry: “One less overdose, one more restored and living a life of sobriety through Christ.”
All are welcome to join this meaningful event as the community comes together to support, remember, and uplift those touched by addiction.
