Do you have a child between attending Kitty Stone Elementary K-6th grade? Does your child get bored? Like playing games? Like hanging out with their friends? Need some homework help? If yes then the Parks and Recreation After school program may be the perfect solution for you.
All participants ride the bus from Kitty Stone and are escorted from the bus to the front door where kids then enjoy a snack time followed by homework help. Once your child has completed their homework they get to participate in organized free play. This can include football, playground time, dodge ball, kickball relays and many more activities. Participants also get visited by special guests; in the past this has included Cocky the JSU mascot and the JSU Marching Southerners color guard who performed a special presentation just for the children.
If you are interested the registration fee is $10 per child with $5 for each additional child. You have many options for signing up based on your individual needs. There are daily rates, weekly rates, and packages.
The daily rate is $8 per child with $5 for each additional child. If you choose a weekly rate it is $40 per child with $25 for each additional child ($8 per day).
White, blue, and gold packages are also available. The White package is for ten days and is $70 per child with $45 for each additional child ($7 per day). The Blue package is for twenty days and is $120 per child with $90 for each additional child ($6 per day). The Gold package is for thirty days and is $150 per child with $115 for each additional child ($5 a day).
Finally there is also a semester package that is $350 and is based on 175 day school calendar ($4 a day). **Purchases of the semester package days will not roll over to the next semester.

Special notes:
The program is only offered on days when school is in session.
In the event that school is dismissed early, the program will still continue that day.
Payments are due prior to children attending the program.
Program ends at 5:30pm. Child(children) should be picked up by 5:45pm
ID will be required to check out child.
Affordable snacks will be provided for purchase.
Package days do not have to be consecutive days.
