Jakari Foster puts a new take on an old saying … good things come to those who persevere.

After receiving second-team All-Conference USA honors, the Piedmont graduate received first-team Associated Press All-American honors Monday.

Louisiana Tech’s redshirt senior safety was also named second-team Walter Camp All-American.
