OXFORD — Peyton Watts came to the 2025 Choccolocco Monsters in the market for a new college team, and seeking answers at the plate.

The former standout on Oxford’s 2023 Class 6A state-championship baseball team turned in another stellar night for the Monsters on Friday, continuing his second-half surge at the plate and finishing with two highlight-worthy defensive plays as they swept the Gainesville GolDiggers 8-2 and 7-3 at Choccolocco Park.
