OXFORD, AL — Golfers from across the region are invited to hit the greens for a good cause on Saturday, April 19, as Phi Mu hosts its annual “Fore the Kids” Golf Tournament at Cider Ridge Golf Club. The four-man scramble will benefit Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, with all proceeds going to support the care of young patients and their families.
The tournament will feature both morning and afternoon shotgun starts, giving participants flexibility to choose their preferred tee time. Teams can register online via Eventbrite or by calling the Cider Ridge Golf Shop at 256-831-7222 to reserve a spot.
This year’s event promises more than just great golf. Participants will enjoy a range of activities including raffle drawings, on-course games, and lunch options from local vendors. The scenic setting of Cider Ridge offers the perfect backdrop for a day of friendly competition and community spirit.
Phi Mu organizers encourage golfers to check the group’s social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) in the days leading up to the event for any last-minute updates, including potential tee time adjustments based on event capacity.
