OXFORD, AL — A community pickleball tournament fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at Oxford Parks and Recreation, with proceeds benefiting the CCA Legacy Fund.
According to event organizers, the fundraiser aims to support CC Athletics gymnasts by helping cover competition fees and related expenses. The event is open to the public and welcomes participants of all skill levels.
The tournament will feature open pairs competition, allowing men’s, women’s, and mixed teams to participate. Teams will consist of two players. Organizers state that games will be played to 11 points and must be won by two points.
The tournament format will include preliminary play followed by playoffs, with the top four teams advancing to the postseason round. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of two games.
Event organizers describe the fundraiser as an opportunity to combine recreation, community engagement, and charitable giving while supporting local athletes pursuing competitive gymnastics.
