PIEDMONT — Voters will have the opportunity to hear directly from local candidates at the upcoming Piedmont Municipal Candidate Forum on Thursday, July 31, 2025. The forum, hosted by the Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitors Center, will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Piedmont High School cafeteria.
Candidates running for Piedmont mayor and the seven city council districts are expected to participate, offering residents insight into their platforms ahead of the August 26 municipal election.
The event is free and open to the public, and those unable to attend in person can watch the live stream on the Calhoun Journal’s digital platforms. The forum aims to provide voters with an informative setting to hear candidate responses to questions on key community issues.
The Chamber encourages civic engagement and invites all residents to take part in this opportunity to learn more about the individuals seeking to serve Piedmont in public office.
