PIEDMONT, AL — The Piedmont Public Library will welcome a special guest this week — Redbird Willow Farm — for an afternoon of stories, smiles, and llamas. The After School Story Time with Redbird Willow Farm will take place on Thursday, October 16 at 3:30 p.m. at 106 N Main Street, Piedmont, AL.
The event will feature a reading by the farm’s owner, who will share her own children’s book with attendees. Following the story, guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with Redbird Willow Farm’s beloved llamas up close.
Designed to encourage reading and community engagement, this family-friendly program blends storytelling with hands-on learning. The Piedmont Public Library invites children and adults alike to experience a unique blend of literature and live animal interaction — creating an afternoon that’s both educational and fun.
The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
