Chief Johnson’s career in public service and public safety spans nearly two decades, during which he has shown unwavering dedication to his community. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University in 2018 and holds certifications from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Canine Performance Sciences (2011) and the Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy (2006).
Chief Johnson is a member of the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police and is recognized as an expert in public service and public safety across Alabama. He attributes his success to his empathy for others and his commitment to helping people overcome challenges and improve their lives.
Outside of his professional life, Chief Johnson enjoys woodworking in his free time and he is an active community volunteer and a devoted family man with a wife and three children whom is is very proud.
