Piedmont, AL – The Piedmont Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Alvie Gene Ponder. Mr. Ponder is an 83 year old white male and may be living with a condition that may impair his judgement. He was last seen on in the early morning on June 7, 2023, wearing blue jeans, a shirt, and gray and red slip on New Balance sneakers in the area of Allen Street in Piedmont, Alabama. Mr. Ponder left in a white 2017 Honda CVR bearing Alabama tag number 11B138M. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Alvie Gene Ponder, please contact the Piedmont Police Department at (256) 447-9091 or call 911.
Update: Per Chief Johnson of the Piedmont Police he has been located and is safe.
