Piedmont runner-up, White Plains third at Piedmont Dogfight. Orange Beach takes top spot in team standings.
PIEDMONT — Piedmont finished second with three wrestlers winning their weight classes in Saturday’s Piedmont Dogfight, and White Plains took third with four weight class winners.
Orange Beach led the 12-team field with 159.5 points, followed by Piedmont (154), White Plains (150), Prattville Christian (140), Montgomery Catholic (104.5), Cherokee County (72), Coosa Christian (66), Escambia County (65), Vinemont (42).
Houston Academy, North Sand Mountain and Westminster Christian didn’t score.
Piedmont’s Charles Nastally (108 pounds), Landon Stambaugh (140) and Bentley Chandler (177) won their weight classes. Jordin Prater (128) and Julian Rodriguez (146) were runners up.
White Plains’ Jack Ledbetter (128), Lyric Brown (134), James Heard (159) and Hudson Ingalsbe (287) won their weight classes. Wesley Beebe (167) and Gray Reid (217) were runners up.
Coosa Christian’s Zayden Franklin (287) was a runner up.
