Piedmont, AL – The Etowah County Animal Shelter will be the site of a heartwarming community event on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., as animal lovers gather for a special Adoption Event. Organized by Monique Gallant Krusick, the event aims to promote pet adoptions, raise awareness, and bring the community together for a fun-filled afternoon.
Held at 12071 US Highway 278 E in Piedmont, the event will feature adoptable pets, food vendors, handmade crafts, and pet-related products and services. Organizers are currently seeking local vendors to participate, offering a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals to showcase their goods while supporting a great cause.
“This event is not only about finding loving homes for animals, but also about connecting the community and celebrating the bond between people and pets,” said Krusick. “We’re excited to welcome vendors, families, and pet enthusiasts to be a part of something special.”
Visitors will be able to meet adoptable animals from the Etowah County Animal Shelter and learn how they can help through volunteering, fostering, or adopting. The event promises to be family-friendly and filled with opportunities to engage with others who are passionate about animal welfare.
