Oxford, AL — Pink Heals Eastern Alabama will host its 5th Annual Cancer Runaway 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Choccolocco Park in Oxford. The community event brings together participants to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by cancer.
Pre-registration is open online through Run Sign Up until August 28 at a cost of $25, with a small convenience fee applied. Those who register early will also have the best chance to secure an event T-shirt, as supplies are limited. Day-of entry will be available for $35.
The 5K is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. and conclude by 8:00 a.m., providing participants the opportunity to run or walk in honor of loved ones impacted by cancer. Organizers encourage early sign-up to guarantee participation benefits and to help make the event’s fifth year a memorable success.
