On Thursday, May 8, from 4 to 5 p.m., Root & Bloom Consulting will host Planting Success: A Beginner’s Guide to Gardening in Alabama. This hands-on, one-hour class is tailored to novice gardeners and will explore the unique factors that influence successful gardening in Alabama.

The class will dive into essential topics such as understanding the state’s distinctive climate and soil conditions, selecting the right plants, and learning the steps to start and maintain a thriving garden.
