Calhoun County, AL – Alexandria, Jacksonville, Pell City mark senior night with victories. Weaver tops Coosa Christian. Faith Christian, Piedmont split trimatches.

ALEXANDRIA — Fresh off winning the Calhoun County Tournament, Alexandria marked senior night with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-16 victory over Lincoln.

The match marked the final regular-season match at home for five seniors: McKinley Cooper, Cassidy Hartsfield, Shelby Morris, Kaden Pritchett and Eryn Spradley.

Alexandria’s top performers:

—Cooper: six kills, one ace.
—Spradley: 12 kills, three digs, one block, two aces.
—Kylie Jeffers: one dig.
—Hartsfield: five kills, five digs, two aces.
—Pritchett: three kills.
—Landry Patterson: one assist, 11 digs, two aces.
—Morris: five digs, one ace.
—Charlee Parris: one assist, eight digs.
—Sophie Martin: two kills, 26 assists, five digs, one block, two aces.
—Cali Hess: four kills, seven digs.
—Brenlee Curvin: two digs.

Alexandria will play host to the Class 4A, Area 12 tournament on Oct. 17. Anniston plays Hokes Bluff at 2 p.m., and the winner plays Alexandria at 5 p.m. White Plains plays Cherokee County at 3:30 p.m.

The final is 6:30 p.m.

JACKSONVILLE: The Golden Eagles won two matches on senior night, beating Saks 25-11, 25-10 and Piedmont 25-8, 25-20.

Senior night honorees included Lacey Barnes, Alexis Phillips and Camryn Stone.

Jacksonville’s top performers:

—Sydney Soriano: five aces, one kill, 27 assists, one block, two digs.
—Stone: three aces, nine kills, four blocks, two digs.
—Mya Swain: seven kills, two blocks, eight digs.
—Myla Hoult: 11 kills, two digs, one assist.
—Chloe Henderson: one dig.
—Phillips: three aces, five kills, 10 digs.
—Imani Roberts: one dig.
—Ontarriah Braxton: one dig.
—Barnes: three kills.
—Layna Wise: two kills, two assists, two digs.
—Ana Strain: five digs.

Jacksonville will play host to the Class 5A, Area 11 tournament on Oct. 16. St. Clair County plays Lincoln at 4 p.m., and the winner plays Jacksonville at 6 p.m.

PIEDMONT: The Bulldogs beat Saks 25-20, 25-10 and lost to Jacksonville 8-25, 20-25. Piedmont’s top performers:

—Cayla Brothers: 10 kills, three digs, one ace.
—Cacey Brothers: five kills, four digs.
—Carson Young: four kills, five digs, one block.
—Melanie Studdard: three kills, three digs, one block.
—Amiyah Thomas: four kills, seven digs, one ace.
—Adilyn Bailey: 21 assists, five digs, three aces.
—Emma Proctor: one kill, one ace.
—Eliza Mathis : one ace.

Piedmont will play in the Class 3A, Area 12 tournament Oct. 16 at Glencoe. Piedmont will play Glencoe at 4 p.m., and Westbrook Christian will play Ohatchee at 5:30 p.m. The championship is set for 7 p.m.

WEAVER: The Bearcats beat Coosa Christian 25-18, 25-15, 25-12. Weaver’s top performers:

—Ali Anderson: two aces, one kill.
—Ansley Montgomery: four kills, seven digs.
—Madison Deck: two aces, four kills, 11 digs.
—Chloe Collison: three aces, eight kills, three digs.
—Arianna Sani: three digs.
—Stevie McGinnis: three kills.
—Gracie Duncan: three aces, one kill, 11 digs.
—Kimora Miles: two kills.
—Jadey Hatten-Rivera: two aces, five kills, 21 assists.
—Bailey Hodges: one assist, one dig.

Weaver will play in the Class 3A, Area 9 tournament Oct. 15 at Donoho at times to be determined. Saks and Randolph County will play at noon, and the winner will play Donoho at 3 p.m. Weaver will play Wellborn at 1:30 p.m.

FAITH CHRISTIAN: The Lions split a trimatch, falling to Westbrook Christian 13-25, 14-25 and beating Cleburne County 25-15, 25-17.

Faith Christian’s top performers:

—Serenity Pate: nine kills.
—Anna Kate Robertson 20 assists, one kill, two aces.
—Kayson Cronan: five aces, two kills.
—Annalie Daniel: 24 digs, one ace.

Faith Christian eyes the Class 1A, Area 12 tournament Oct. 17. Woodland plays Gaylesville at 3 p.m., and the winner plays host and defending state champion Spring Garden at 4 p.m. Jacksonville Christian plays Faith Christian at 5 p.m. The championship match is 6 p.m.

PELL CITY: The Panthers marked senior night with a 25-9, 25-18, 25-10 victory over Winterboro.

Pell City honored seven seniors: Trinitee Anderson, Ebonecia Forman, De’Nadriya Moon, Nyla Treptau, Taylor Stinnett, Hailey Richey and Madison Graham.

The Panthers’ top performers:

—Anderson: six kills.
—Forman: six kills, one block.
—Moon: two kills, two digs.
—Treptau: eight kills.
—Olivia Armstrong: two digs.
—Brooklyn Rains: five aces, three kills, one dig.
—Ella Grace Haynes: two kills.
—Stinnett: one ace, one dig.
—JaAnna Johnston: seven assists.
—Reese Tarver: 15 assists, four aces.
—Richey: two digs.
—Briley Goodgame: two digs.
—Graham: one ace, seven kills, one block.

Pell City will play in the Class 6A, Area 11 tournament Oct. 15 at Oxford. The Panthers will play Shades Valley at 5 p.m., and the winner will play Oxford at 6:30 p.m.
