OXFORD — Randolph County bats produced two runs in two state-tournament games a week after thundering for 44 in four East Regional games, but the Tigers’ big picture remains intact.

A year after making their first-ever state-tournament appearance, they made their second.

Randolph County fell to Wicksburg 5-1 and Madison Academy 9-1 in Thursday’s state-tournament action at Choccolocco Park, finishing its season at 24-10.
