ANNISTON — The American Red Cross will hold a community blood drive at the Anniston Public Library on Friday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event invites residents to donate blood and help meet the ongoing demand for lifesaving transfusions. Donors may pre-register for a specific appointment time through the Red Cross website at redcross.org/give-blood, but walk-ins will also be welcomed throughout the day.

The blood drive will take place at the library’s main location, 108 E. 10th Street in Anniston. Organizers encourage community members to take part in what they describe as an opportunity to “give the gift of life.”
