Anniston, AL – Registration for the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust‘s annual Wing Night event is now open. Join the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust. Inc. for this special event at the Weaver Cave Preserve. At 6:45 pm, they will meet at Michael Tucker Park for refreshments while Wildlife Biologist, Jonathan Strober, leads the group in a discussion on the natural history of the bats that inhabit Weaver Cave. Discover their incredible story of survival and learn how the utilize this vital cave, which is home to 12,000+ gray bats in summer and 600+ tricolored bats in winter. Then participants will move to the Preserve to watch the baths emerge for their nightly foray!
