Rep. Rogers Invites Local High Schoolers to Participate in 2025 Congressional Art Competition Winning Art Piece Will be Displayed in U.S. Capitol Building

OXFORD, AL – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (AL-03) has announced that his office is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, an annual event that provides high school students with the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. The winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year, representing Alabama’s 3rd Congressional District.

This year’s theme, “What My County Means to Me,” encourages students to create pieces that reflect their personal interpretations of their communities. High school students from across the district can submit their artwork between April 1st and April 3rd.

Each year, the nationwide competition highlights student creativity while offering young artists a platform for national recognition. The selected artwork will be exhibited alongside other winning pieces from congressional districts across the country, allowing visitors to view a diverse collection of student talent.
