RMC Foundation to Host Heart Day Screenings for Adults 50+ at Tyler Center in Anniston

Anniston, AL – The RMC Foundation will host its Early Detection Connection “Heart Day” screening event on February 26 and 27 at the RMC Tyler Center, offering heart health screenings for men and women ages 50 and older.

The screenings are available for $50 and are designed to promote early detection and awareness of heart-related conditions. Organizers say the event is part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to encourage preventative care and provide accessible health services to the community.

Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by calling 844-RMC-APPT.

Community member Ike Brown shared his support for the initiative and the importance of heart health awareness. “Heart Day holds a special place in my heart as I lost my father to heart disease. Every chance I have to raise awareness, I try to take the opportunity to do so, particularly with RMC. RMC does an excellent job with this service. They are thorough, efficient, and professional,” Brown said.

The RMC Foundation’s Early Detection Connection program aims to provide education, screenings, and resources to help individuals better understand and manage their health, with a focus on early intervention and prevention.

Appointments for the Heart Day screenings are currently being scheduled for the two-day event at the RMC Tyler Center.
