Robbery Homicide in Anniston

The Anniston Police Department issued a press release regarding a homicide that occurred on February 1, 2022. At approximately 8:30 pm the Anniston Police Department was dispatched to the 2000 block of Front Street for a possible gunshot victim. Upon arrival officers located Jeffrey A. Brodeur, 54, of Anniston, outside of a building, injured from a gunshot wound. Brodeur was pronounced dead on scene.

Anniston Police investigators determine that Brodeur was the victim of robbery and during the crime the assailant shot Brodeur. The investigation is still ongoing and no one has been arrested at this time.
