Run Among the Raptors: Anniston Museums and Gardens Host Raptor Run 5K and Dino Dash Fun Run

Anniston, AL – Lace up your running shoes and prepare to embark on a journey through the scenic landscapes of the Anniston Museums and Gardens at the annual Raptor Run 5K and Dino Dash Fun Run. Set against the backdrop of greenery and picturesque vistas, this event promises a harmonious blend of exercise, nature, and camaraderie for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The Raptor Run 5K kicks off at 8:00 am on April 6th, offering avid runners and fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to test their speed and endurance along the charming trails of the Anniston Museums and Gardens. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply looking to enjoy a leisurely jog amidst the beauty of nature, the Raptor Run 5K welcomes participants of all paces and abilities.

For those seeking a more relaxed experience, the Dino Dash Fun Run begins at 9:30 am, inviting families, children, and walkers to join in the fun and embrace the joy of movement. With a shorter distance and a focus on enjoyment rather than competition, the Dino Dash Fun Run promises a delightful outing for participants of all ages.

Registration for the Raptor Run 5K is $30 per person, while entry to the Dino Dash Fun Run is $15 per person. Participants are encouraged to register in advance, with registration packet pick-up available on Friday, April 5th, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Anniston Museum of Natural History, as well as on race morning starting at 7:00 am. Pre-registration closes on Thursday, April 4th, with race day registration available for $35 for the Raptor Run 5K and $20 for the Dino Dash Fun Run until 7:30 am.

Exciting door prizes await lucky participants, and competitors have the chance to vie for t-riffic medals within their respective age groups, with awards presented to the top three overall finishers as well. Following the races, an awards ceremony will take place to honor the accomplishments of participants and celebrate their dedication to health and wellness.
