Saks, AL – Saks High School, under the leadership of Principal Frederick Franklin, is making a push for a major sports facilities upgrade. The school is one of just 16 national finalists vying for a stadium and sports facilities makeover from T-Mobile, which comes with a significant grand prize—a complete stadium transformation.
Being selected as a finalist has already secured Saks High School a $25,000 award. Importantly, they stand out as the only school in the finals from Alabama or any of the surrounding states, eliminating concerns over any regional bias.
To clinch the grand prize, Saks High School is turning to the broader Alabama community for help. Principal Franklin is reaching out to schools, universities, churches, and organizations across the state to rally support. The call to action is simple: spread the word and encourage as many people as possible to cast their votes for Saks High School.
Voting is set to take place from October 10 to November 12, 2024. To participate, supporters are asked to follow and share the school’s Instagram account, @Saks_Football, where more information and updates will be available.
Principal Franklin expressed his gratitude to all those who join in their efforts: “Thank you so much for your support. Together, we have a unique opportunity to make a difference for our students and our community.”
