Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) has joined Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and a group of Republican colleagues in introducing a resolution designating October 5–11, 2025, as Religious Education Week. The resolution highlights the importance of faith-based learning and recognizes schools, churches, and other organizations that provide religious education to students across the United States.

“It’s truly a blessing that so many children across our country are able to attend schools where they can deepen their faith alongside their other studies,” said Senator Britt. “Safeguarding religious education and religious freedom is fundamental to our core American values.
