WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Ala.) and Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) announced the launch of the Republican Women’s Caucus (RWC) at the White House today. The newly formed group, consisting of Republican women in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, aims to highlight their voices, expand leadership roles, and advocate for policies affecting American families.
Senator Britt and Congresswoman Cammack will serve as co-chairs of the caucus in this Congress. In her remarks, Senator Britt emphasized the significance of this initiative, calling it a “historic opportunity” to build on previous efforts to address key issues, including economic prosperity and national security.
Congresswoman Cammack noted that the launch, taking place during Women’s History Month, underscores the importance of women’s roles in shaping national policy. She highlighted former President Donald Trump’s influence in engaging women voters and reaffirmed the caucus’s commitment to addressing broad issues affecting all Americans.
The Republican Women’s Caucus will serve as an official platform for GOP women lawmakers to advance legislative priorities, support leadership development, and advocate for policies at both national and local levels.
