Anniston, AL – Per the Anniston Police Department on July 3, 2023, at approximately 10:15 pm, Anniston Police Department patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting victim in the 2300 block of Adams St. Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old white male Jonathan Walter Golson deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. During the investigation, Weaver Patrol officers made contact with a possible suspect. Through continued investigation, Anniston Police investigators developed probable cause to charge 34-year-old white female Misty Lashea Hardy of Weaver with the murder of Golson. Hardy was booked into the Calhoun County Jail. The Anniston Police Department thanked the Weaver Police Department for their help in this case. No further information will be released at this time.
