Calhoun County Sheriff, Matthew Wade, has announced the Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff’s Association will be hosting a shooting event that is open to the public. “Shooting with the Sheriff” will be a clay target event held on April 9, 2022, at the CMP-Talladega Marksmanship Range in Talladega, AL. This fun event will be supporting the Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.
Registration for the event is now open and is limited up to 60 shooters. All registered participants will receive lunch provided on the grounds, will be competing for cash prizes, and also be entered in drawing for a new gun. Prizes will be $350 for 1st Place, $250 for 2nd Place, and $150 for 3rd Place. There are also sponsorship spots for local businesses or groups that wish to support the Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff’s Association. Sponsorships are as follows:
