Anniston, AL – Sinclair Social is set to host a free pre-event fundraiser on Friday, July 12, 2024, in support of the Weaver Fire Department’s equipment upgrade and training initiatives. Located at 33 West 10th Street, Anniston, AL, Sinclair Social will welcome the community for an afternoon and evening of fun and generosity.
The event, organized by the Calhoun County Blue Line Foundation, aims to raise funds for the Weaver Fire Department’s essential needs, including modern extrication equipment and enhanced training tools. As a 501(c)(3) organization, donations through the foundation offer contributors potential tax benefits while directly supporting local emergency services.
“We are grateful to Sinclair Social for their generous support and to the community for their participation,” remarked a representative from the Calhoun County Blue Line Foundation. “Together, we can ensure our firefighters have the resources they need to continue their vital work protecting our community.”
From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, attendees will enjoy attractions such as fire trucks, police cars, specialty vehicles, and a helicopter display by Survival Flight 23. Food trucks will tantalize taste buds, while live music by Stephen Wilson will entertain guests starting at 7:00 PM. Sinclair Social will offer a full bar for adult attendees.
Additionally, the event will tease the upcoming Smoke Eater Chili Challenge on July 13th at the Kress Building, where the community is invited to witness a friendly showdown between police and fire departments in a chili cook-off. This event promises fun for all ages and aims to strengthen community bonds while supporting local emergency responders.
Join them at Sinclair Social on July 12th to celebrate community spirit and contribute to a worthy cause. Together, let’s ensure the Weaver Fire Department has the resources they need to continue their vital work protecting Weaver and beyond.
