Calhoun County, AL – Weaver’s Fulmer pitches no-hitter. Handley’s Hill pitched two-hitter. Evans, Wood power Jacksonville to victory. Ohatchee strikes out cancer with 10-0 victory. Mooney pitches four-hitter in Oxford’s 2-1 victory. Spring Garden walks it off. White Plains rolls up 20 runs.

WEAVER — Kynlee Fulmer pitched a no-hitter, and Weaver dispatched Saks 18-0 in three innings on Tuesday.

Fulmer struck out four batters and walked one. She finished the job in 35 pitches, including 25 strikes.

She also had a double and an RBI.

Jadyn Smith’s grand slam made it 5-0 in the first inning, and Ella Kines went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs.

Anna Shirvinski had two doubles, two runs and three RBIs.

Peyton Marvasty went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and McKennah Homesley went 2-for-2 with a double, three runs and an RBI.

Alana Cooper went 2-for-2 with three runs and an RBI, and Kaelyn Free had a double, two runs and an RBI.

OHATCHEE 10, WEST END 0: Mackenzie Luna went 3-for-3 with four RBIs, and Ohatchee improved to 21-7-1 with a victory in the Indians’ annual Strike Out Cancer Game.

Lexi Thomas homered and drove in two runs, and Alanah Fitch went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and two RBIs.

Savannah Reaves went 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs and an RBI, and Ellie Carden went 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Jordyn Faulkner pitched all six innings, allowing six hits and striking out three batters with no walks

HANDLEY 3, CHEROKEE COUNTY 1: A day after Mariana Whaley pitched a two-hitter against Alexandria, Ava Hill pitched a two-hitter against Cherokee County as Handley improved to 17-5.

She struck out six batters and allowed no earned runs in seven innings. She also went 2-for-3 with two triples and an RBI.

Ella Hopper had a double and two RBIs. Whaley went 2-for-3 with a double and a run, and Kia Brown had a double.

JACKSONVILLE 10, CLEBURNE COUNTY 0: Jacksonville’s Teah Evans struck out seven batters and allowed five hits in five innings, and Dailyn Wood had a home run, a triple with three runs and two RBIs.

Lacey Barnes had a triple, a double, two runs and two RBIs.

Raybon Pridgen had a double and an RBI, and Ke’Asiah Williams had a double and a run. Je’Henna Engram had a single and two RBIs, and Libby Strain had a single and RBI.

OXFORD 2, PELL CITY 1: Berkley Mooney pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts in seven innings, and Oxford made it four consecutive wins while improved to 15-13.

Mooney also had a single and RBI.

Kaelyn Crossley had a double, a run and an RBI, and Adajiah Wilson went 2-for-3 with a double and a run.

SPRING GARDEN 3, HOKES BLUFF 2: Spring Garden (16-8) scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and walked it off against Hokes Bluff.

All three runs scored when Maggie Reedy’s line drive with bases loaded resulted in an outfield error. Avery Steward, Helena Ingram and Hayden Parris scored.

Parris was a courtesy runner for Rylie Ham, who singled. Steward reached base on a double, and Ingram singled.

Steward was 2-for-4 with two doubles. She also pitched a complete game, allowing five hits and no earned runs with two strikeouts in seven innings.

Ingram was 2-for-3.

WHITE PLAINS 20, ANNISTON 0: Callie Richardson went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, two runs and an RBI as White Plains improved to 21-10. Cassidy Arnold went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

Karli Otwell had a single, two runs and four RBIs, and Carli Fritts drove in three runs.

Sara Kate Adams went 1-for-2 with a double, three runs and an RBI, and Cooper Martin had a double, a run and an RBI. Leighton Arnold had a double and three runs.

Fritts and Carleigh-Anne Green combined to hold Anniston to one hit. Fritts pitched a perfect innings with three strikeouts, and Green struck out four batters in two innings.
