Anniston, AL – Rabbit enthusiasts and breeders are gearing up for an exciting event as Southeastern Bunny and Cavy Shows, LLC prepares to host an exceptional showcase at the Calhoun County Expo Center. The event, scheduled for January 19-20, 2024, promises a thrilling experience for both participants and spectators.

The event will kick off with a Single Open/Youth All breed show on January 19, featuring all specialty shows. The following day, January 20, will witness a Triple Open/Youth All breed show. This pre-entry show has no comment cards, and entries are set at $5 per rabbit for Open/Youth categories.

To participate, interested individuals must submit their entries via email before the deadline on January 16, 2024, at 9:00 PM EST. Late entries will be accepted until January 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST. It is crucial to note that entries will not be accepted through phone calls, Facebook messages, texts, or comments on social media.

On January 19, 2024, at 6:30 PM, the Specialty Shows will take center stage. Participants must complete check-in by 6:00 PM EST for the specialty shows. These include the SEBACS Open Rex Specialty, SEBACS Open/Youth Holland Lop Specialty, SEBACS Open English Spot, Checkered Giant, Tan, and Rhinelander Specialty. Additionally, the Southeast Silver Fox Rabbit Breeders Club Open Specialty Breed Show featuring Silver Fox rabbits will be a highlight of the event.

The event will showcase a variety of rabbit breeds, including Open Rex, New Zealands, Beveren, Satins, Mini Satins, Americans, Dutch, Holland Lops, Mini Lops, Silver Fox, Netherland Dwarf, Britannia Petites, Havana, Checkered Giants, Rhinelanders, Tans, English Spots, English Lops, French Lops, Lionheads, Himalayan, Harlequins, Mini Rex, and Lilacs.

A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate the participants, including Josh Humphries, Fayth Young, Jim Rowland, Bruce Ormsby, Andy High, George Larue, Rob Frizzell, and Donald Sheets. Donna Barabas will serve as the Registrar.
