Oxford, AL – The Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitor’s Center will host its annual “State of Law Enforcement” event on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Oxford Civic Center, located at 401 McCullars Lane in Oxford, Alabama.
The community gathering will feature presentations from local police chiefs and the Calhoun County Sheriff, who will provide comprehensive updates on their respective departments. Attendees can expect to hear about recent developments, current challenges, ongoing programs, and notable achievements from law enforcement leadership across the county.
“This annual event provides a valuable opportunity for community members to engage directly with local law enforcement leaders and stay informed about public safety initiatives in our area,” said a Chamber representative.
The event is made possible through sponsorships from Eastman and the Anniston Water Works and Sewer Board, with the Civilian Marksmanship Program serving as the title sponsor.
Community members, business leaders, and anyone interested in learning more about local law enforcement efforts are encouraged to attend. The Oxford Civic Center’s central location makes this event accessible to residents throughout Calhoun County and surrounding areas.
