Oxford, AL – Cheaha CASA’s Tee Up Against Child Abuse event proved to be a resounding success, raising over $13,000 to support abused and neglected children in the community. Held on Saturday at the picturesque Cider Ridge Golf Club, the event saw an outpouring of support from sponsors, participants, and volunteers, all coming together for a worthy cause.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, with sunshine gracing the day and temperatures reaching a comfortable 78 degrees. Presenting sponsors Bill and Jeannie McAdams’ family, along with sponsors Cider Ridge Golf Club and Turf Wars, played pivotal roles in making the event a success.
A total of 95 golfers took to the greens, choosing to spend their day supporting the cause and making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. In addition to the golf tournament, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a split-the-pot ping pong ball race in the creek, adding an extra element of fun and excitement to the day’s festivities.
