Summer Story and Craft Hour Returns to Anniston Museum and Gardens

Summer Story and Craft Hour

Anniston, AL — Families looking for a fun, educational escape from the summer heat are invited to the Summer Story and Craft Hour at the Anniston Museum and Gardens on Wednesday, May 28 at 11:00 a.m. Hosted by the Anniston Museums and Gardens, this engaging weekly event combines reading and creativity in an inviting indoor setting on Museum Drive.

Each week, children will enjoy a new story followed by a themed craft activity designed to spark imagination and deepen appreciation for the natural world. The program is geared toward preschool and elementary-aged children, though all ages are welcome to attend.

As part of the museum’s broader summer programming, the Story and Craft Hour offers a perfect blend of entertainment and education for young learners. For those unable to attend on a weekday, the event will also be held on Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m.

Participation in the program is included with regular museum admission and is free for members of the Anniston Museums and Gardens.

Located at 800 Museum Drive, the museum provides a unique setting to nurture curiosity, creativity, and family connection all summer long.
