Jacksonville, AL – Per Michael S. Barton, Director of Public Safety for JSU, there will be a planned temporary road and sidewalk closure of Street Avenue, to all through traffic, beginning on Monday, July 10th, and ending on Saturday, July 29th. The purpose of this closure is for underground water lines to be connected as part of the ongoing campus transformation projects.
Parking in front of Curtiss Hall will still be accessible from Forney Avenue.

During this closure, detour routes will be visibly marked with signage. Motorists should preplan their travel routes accordingly.
